A senior majoring in Political Science and Agricultural Education and Communication, Blake’s journey in student government and fraternity life has set a remarkable example of dedication and leadership.
Fraternity & Leadership Development

As a proud member of Kappa Sigma, Blake credits his fraternity with shaping him into the leader he is today. Serving as Chapter President, he gained invaluable experience in leadership, communication, and organizational management—skills that have been instrumental in his rise within student government.
“Kappa Sigma has allowed me to grow as a leader more than any other organization. In my time as Chapter President, I learned many valuable leadership and communication skills that have allowed me to thrive in Student Government as a leader,” Blake shares.
Beyond personal growth, his chapter played a direct role in his campaign success. “My chapter provided unwavering support throughout the elections process. In addition to aiding in my development as a leader, they helped me campaign and provided support throughout my journey to becoming Student Body President.”
A Distinguished Student Government Career
Blake’s student government career is nothing short of impressive. Currently serving as Senate President, he has been elected as the next Student Body President, a testament to his leadership and vision for the university. Prior to these roles, he served as Budget and Appropriations Chairman, Senate President Pro-Tempore, and Chief of Staff for the Florida Students Association. Each of these positions has allowed him to make a significant impact on policies affecting the student body.
Among his notable achievements, Blake authored a piece of legislation that was recognized as the “Most Outstanding Piece of Legislation” in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), further proving his commitment to effective governance and advocacy.

With a strong foundation in leadership and governance, Blake has set his sights on law school, aiming to become an attorney. His passion for public service and policy, refined through his fraternity and student government experiences, will undoubtedly serve him well in his future legal career.
