15 PIKE Brothers Serving as Student Body Presidents: A Testament to Fraternal Leadership

This year, an impressive 15 undergraduate members of Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) are serving as Student Government Association (SGA) Presidents on their campuses. Thanks to the NIC’s ENGAGE initiative, which now tracks fraternity and sorority student government involvement, we are able to recognize this remarkable achievement. It may even stand as a national record for a single fraternity.

PIKE’s Principles in Action

The men of Pi Kappa Alpha are guided by the fraternity’s core principles of scholarship, leadership, integrity, and brotherhood. These values naturally lend themselves to service in roles like SGA President, where vision, collaboration, and ethical leadership are essential. PIKE has long been recognized as a leadership incubator, and this year’s cohort of SGA presidents continues that tradition in outstanding fashion.

Fraternities as Leadership Incubators

While this achievement is a proud moment for PIKE, it is also a reflection of the broader impact of the fraternity and sorority experience. Fraternities serve as leadership incubators, preparing men to step into positions of influence on campus and beyond. PIKE is just one of hundreds of organizations across North America that inspire new generations of leaders each year, equipping them with the tools, networks, and confidence to make a difference.

Support Through ENGAGE

The NIC’s ENGAGE platform is designed to elevate fraternal voices in student government and campus leadership. Each year, ENGAGE offers a Leadership Grant to support fraternity members who are running for or serving in SGA roles. This resource is available to any aspiring leader and can be found on the ENGAGE website.

Looking Ahead

It is clear that many of these PIKE brothers will go on to serve in national leadership positions as a natural next step in their careers. Their time as SGA Presidents will no doubt be a launching pad to opportunities in business, public service, and beyond. Congratulations to these men—not just for their current service, but for embodying the principle of lifelong commitment to their fraternity and to the fraternal movement.

Congratulations to the Pi Kappa Alpha undergraduate brothers currently serving as Student Government Association Presidents:
